Preparing
the kit and painting
First
thing to do after opening the box is to check each bag separately for
defects and missing parts. I found a defect on mine and contacted the
company for appropriate action.
As
seen here. The Nagas Hacker is clearly missing an arm.
Start
with putting warm water and dish washing soap on a clear container.
Put the kit for cleaning one figure at a time to avoid mixup of
parts. This is also helpful to keep tabs on the parts to make sure
you won't lose any. Use a toothbrush with soft bristles to scrub off
any chemical residue of the casting process. These are release agents applied onto the mold to prevent the cast from sticking on to them and ruining both the mold and the cast.
Tap it over a napkin to shake of the water. Sun dry if you can or just leave it down for a bit. I suggest adding a drop of water near the model as reference.
And all dried up...
